ARTS FOR VETERANS INITIATIVE - Guitar Classes (Intermediate Group)

Overview

Intermediate guitar classes for veterans learning chords, rhythm, and fundamentals in a supportive group setting.

🎶 Intermediate Guitar for Veterans

Arts for Veterans Initiative | The Venue at 1201

Music continues to grow with you and so can your skills.

This intermediate guitar class is designed specifically for veterans who already have a foundation in basic chords and strumming and are ready to take their playing to the next level. Participants should be comfortable changing between common chords and keeping a steady rhythm.

In this supportive and collaborative setting, participants will:

• Expand chord vocabulary (including barre chords and variations)
• Strengthen rhythm and strumming techniques
• Explore lead guitar basics and simple riffs
• Improve timing and musicality through group playing
• Build confidence performing fuller, more dynamic songs

This class offers a steady, encouraging environment to refine technique, challenge yourself musically, and connect with fellow veterans through the shared language of music.

🎸 Please bring your own instrument.
🗓️ 8 week class session. Every Wednesday in October and November, 6:30 - 7pm
🎟 Free to attend | Registration required
📍 1201 S Federal Hwy, Lake Worth Beach, FL

This program is made possible through grant support from the Cornelia T Bailey Foundation.

Please note: This class is exclusively for U.S. military veterans.
