Is registration refundable?

Registration to the 2027 Development, Aging & Cognition Conference is refundable up to 30 days before the event.  Refunds can be processed automatically via Eventbrite for the ticketed registration, less credit card processing fees.

Do I have to register and pay the registration fee if I submitted an abstract?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in order to present accepted abstracts you must register for the conference under the appropriate ticket type.

Question 3

Should I notify event staff during registration if I have disabilities and/or special needs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, please email dacc@utdallas.edu to discuss with event staff.  Availability of appropriate accommodations without prior notification of need cannot be guaranteed.

What time does check-in start?

Check-in will start at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 18. Tables will be directly outside the main conference room.

Where do I park?

The Virgin Hotels Dallas offers valet parking at $50 per vehicle, per night.  Hourly pricing: 0-4 hours: $12.00, 4-10 hours: $20.00, 10+hours: $50.00. All parking rates are inclusive of tax.  Street parking is also available, but may be limited.

Is there special group rate at the Conference Hotel?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is a limited number of rooms for out-of-town guests who wish to stay at the hotel. Please visit the “Conference Details” section on the DACC website and follow the booking link. Deadline to reserve a room is Monday, January 18, 2027.

Is it possible to arrange shared lodging?

Accepted Answer

A roommate matching questionnaire is available in the "Conference Details" page of the DACC website. To find a match please make sure the form is completed by January 4, 2027.

How do I register for the Social Event on Friday, February 19?

Accepted Answer

You can register via the DACC Registration Form by answering YES to the Social Event attendance question.
