Fair Housing Basics - Race & Color as Protected Classes

Online event
Thursday, Jun 25 from 2 pm to 3:30 pm MDT
Overview

We will discuss the elements of a fair housing allegation and provide in-depth details about race and color as protected classes.

This online training will discuss the legacy of the Fair Housing Act (FHA) as we acknowledge the 58th anniversary of its passage, the basics of the Fair Housing Act, including the jurisdictional elements of a fair housing complaint and examples of discriminatory conduct by housing providers, as well as a closer look at the protected class of Race and Color - original protected classes under the 1968 FHA.

With questions regarding the event, interpretation, or reasonable accommodations, please reach out to Zoe Olson at Zoe Ann Olson zolson@ifhcidaho.org or Peg Richards at Peg Richards prichards@ifhcidaho.org
