Music Together® brings the highest quality music and movement experiences to children everywhere—and we involve the adults who love them in the magical process of development that only music can provide.

Meet Our Instructor

Kate DesBiens, CCC-SLP, is a certified speech-language pathologist and lifelong music lover. From an early age, she participated in a variety of musical activities, including choir, band, orchestra, and marching band. Studying voice, percussion, and oboe allowed her to gain a thorough understanding of musical theory and technique in addition to experiencing the joy of music.

Within speech therapy, Kate often uses music to support communication development, social engagement, and play skills in children of all ages and abilities. She is excited to combine her expertise in speech therapy with her love of music to bring new musical opportunities to the families of Easterseals. Kate believes that every child can benefit from music in their life, and she is thrilled to create an inclusive environment where families can play with music together!

Music Together® is the premier early childhood program for children, along with the grownups who love them. Sing, dance, laugh, learn, and play in our classes at Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley!

Music Together® helps children develop a foundation for life-long music enjoyment, self-confidence and socialization skills. Our award-winning classes are developmentally appropriate - based on early childhood research - and loads of fun!

What does our Mixed Ages Class Offer?

We offer an 8-week Mixed Ages Class for children 0-5 years of age, gather for 45 minutes of fun-filled family music time. You’ll receive the award-winning music used in class, along with an illustrated songbook and other resources. As you discover new ways to play with music all week long, you’ll be supporting your child’s music-learning and overall development.

Schedule

Every Monday from April 13th - June 1st:
Mixed Ages Class (children 0 - 5)
Mondays from 10:45-11:30am for 8 weeks.

*Please note this is not a therapy program. Teachers and programming are credentialed through Music Together.
