We will discuss the basic elements of a fair housing allegation and in detail familial status and disabilities as protected classes.

This online training will discuss the legacy of the Fair Housing Act (FHA) as we acknowledge the 58th anniversary of its passage, the basics of the Fair Housing Act, including the jurisdictional elements of a fair housing complaint and examples of discriminatory conduct by housing providers, as well as a closer look at the protected class of Familial Status and Disabilities - added to the FHA in 1988.
