Will there be food and drinks?

Yes! Our sister company Crave Catering will be providing food onsite for purchase and our friends from Parker Family Wines will be pouring wine for you to enjoy.

Is this really with a real Scottish Highland cow?

Yes! Gandolf is our 11-month-old white Scottish Highland calf. You will meet him, feed him, and have photo opportunities before the painting session begins.

Is this event family friendly?

Yes. All ages are welcome. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially during animal interaction.

How interactive is the experience?

Very. This is not just a “look from a distance” event. Guests will have guided time to meet, feed, and take photos with Gandolf before we begin painting.
All animal interaction is supervised for safety.

Do I need painting experience?

Not at all. Kris will guide you step-by-step. Whether you’ve never picked up a brush or paint regularly, you’ll leave with something you’re proud of.

What should I wear?

It’s March on a working farm.
• Dress in layers
• Wear closed-toe shoes
• Expect a little mud
• Wear something you don’t mind getting a tiny bit of paint on
Farm chic is highly encouraged.

What happens if it rains?

This event takes place indoors in a cozy, covered farm space. Rain adds to the charm — the experience will continue as planned.

How long is the event?

Plan for approximately 2.5-3  hours total:
• 45-60 minutes of group Highland interaction + photos
• 1.5–2.25  hours of guided painting

Are tickets limited?

Yes. We intentionally keep the group small so every guest has meaningful interaction time with Gandolf.
When tickets sell out, we close registration.
