Adult ADD/ADHD: Harnessing the Power of a Scattered Mind

Adult ADD/ADHD: Harnessing the Power of a Scattered Mind

Evolve Academy of Conscious LearningCharleston, SC
Tuesday, Apr 21 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Overview

ADD/ADHD isn’t a flaw. Release the shame, understand your wiring, and reclaim the strengths you have always carried.

You’re capable. Curious. Passionate.

And yet, you procrastinate, forget things that matter, struggle with follow-through, and oscillate between hyperfocus and overwhelm.

What if nothing is wrong with you? What if your attention patterns make sense?

If you’re ready to stop fighting your brain, this workshop is for you.

__

For many people, ADHD isn’t just about attention. It’s about shame: about inconsistency, missed deadlines, or not living up to your own potential.

In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll explore how attention patterns develop in response to stress and early adaptation.

We’ll also gently explore the strengths that often live alongside ADHD: creative thinking, emotional sensitivity, pattern recognition, deep immersion, and intuitive leaps. We'll discuss how to arrange your life and your days to capitalize on those strengths.

This isn’t about turning ADHD into a superpower; it’s about softening the shame long enough to see yourself clearly.

When you understand your wiring, you can begin to build your life around it — instead of fighting it.

Release the shame. Understand the pattern. Recognize the gifts. Move forward with compassion.

No diagnosis required — if you're an adult who struggles with attention, and you suspect you might have ADD/ADHD, you’re welcome here.

Use code EARLYBIRD for $13 off through March 21st.

Getting to Evolve Academy

The Evolve Academy of Conscious Learning is located inside The Schoolhouse at 720 Magnolia Road, Suite 21, Charleston, SC 29407.

Please park on the Magnolia Road side of The Schoolhouse building and enter through the double doors labeled “Events.” Once inside, turn left and you’ll find Evolve Academy in Suite 21.

As a center for adult personal and professional development, many of our classes take place in the evenings and on weekends. If you happen to arrive late and find the exterior doors locked, simply knock gently on the window to the left of the doors—this is the Evolve classroom window. (Arriving a few minutes early is the smoothest way in.)

Evolve is a serene, cozy space designed with nervous-system comfort in mind. You’ll find calm lighting, soft rugs and cushions, warm herbal tea, and neutral tones—intentionally curated to help you feel safe, grounded, and cared for. All are welcome. We love all of our neurodivergent friends, all of our friends of various genders, sexual orientations, ethnic backgrounds, physical challenges, and more. There is a handicap accessible ramp to enter the building. This is a safe space for you.

Many of our classes are taught with our students seated on comfy cushions on the ground. If you need or would like a chair, we are happy to accommodate you.
