Despite fierce opposition from private property owners, the movement’s leaders successfully reclaimed these spaces, turning them into vibrant, car-free green areas for creation and community.&nbsp;Arrive early to meet with community action partners from Solar Landscape, GAIA, Working Bikes, Third Act Illinois, and Alderman Bennet Lawson’s (44th Ward) office.
