I've never been birding before and/or I don't have binoculars. Can I still participate?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We are a welcoming space for people to begin their birding journey. We provide binoculars, spotting scopes, field guides, and experienced educators to guide you along the way.

I have an accessibility concern. Can I still participate?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Bird Conservancy has partnered with Birdability to make birding accessible for everyone! We will include accessibility info for each outing. If you have other concerns or questions, please contact Sarah Doxon, Education Manager, at sarah.doxon@birdconservancy.org or 303-659-4348 ext. 53.

Question 3

My child LOVES birds! Is this club appropriate for kids?

Accepted Answer

You bet! Bird Conservancy educators provide environmental education for kids year-round - it is our greatest joy to cultivate a love of birds in our young bird nerds :)  Our educators are skilled at being able to cater to different ages and various needs all in one setting.

Question 4

What kind of food will you provide? What if I have a food allergy/preference?

Accepted Answer

Snacks and beverages are provided at each outing and there will be something for everyone! After you register on Eventbite, a Bird Conservancy staff member will email you with specific information for that outing, as well as asking about any food allergies/preferences and accessibility concerns.
