2026 WMCI Middle School Summer Camp
Wednesday, June 17th & Thursday, June 18th, 9am-4pm @ WMCI Middle school 2-day camp to get students interested in the world of construction.
West Michigan Construction Institute is hosting its 4th annual middle school summer camp. We will be hosting a 2-day session. Middle School students get the chance to explore the world of construction through activities about the trades.
Dress Code Requirements
Campers must wear long pants and closed-toed shoes to camp every day. This is a safety requirement when working on a construction site. If your child does not arrive in long pants and closed-toed shoes, they will be sent home to change.
Lunch Requirements
Students will need to bring their own lunch and water bottle each day. Lunch will not be provided. We do have drinking fountains to refill water bottles. Some snacks will be provided.
Sunscreen Requirements
Please apply sunscreen to your child each morning before attending camp. If you’d like them to reapply sunscreen throughout the day, you must send sunscreen with them. WMCI staff are not permitted to provide or apply sunscreen to campers.
Medication Requirements
If possible, please make sure your child receives their medication before camp each morning. If that is not possible, please bring medication in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name on it and a detailed description of use.
Cell Phones
Cell phones are permitted at camp, however, they will only be accessible on breaks and lunch. Camp crew leaders will collect phones during activities to ensure a safe camp environment.
