OWASP Phoenix Chapter June Meeting
Ham Radio: Insecure by Design
Presenter: Vitaliy Konyukhov
Presentation: As security professionals, we spend our days encrypting traffic and locking down networks. But what if there were a global, wireless network where encryption is legally prohibited and every data packet is broadcast in the clear? We will dive into how this "insecure by design" environment is the perfect playground for mastering RF protocols and building resilient off-grid networks, showing why getting your FCC license is the best next step for your cybersecurity toolkit.
