What happens if I can't make it?

If for any reason you are unable to attend this event after signing up, PLEASE cancel your registration. This allows us to open up spaces for other people, and get a more accurate estimate of how many volunteers will be attending.

Question 2

What happens if the weather turns nasty?

Accepted Answer

By registering through Eventbrite, you will receive any weather cancellation notices via email, so please keep an eye out! We reschedule and will both email and post on social media the amended date.

Question 3

May I bring my child?

Accepted Answer

The minimum age for participation is 8 years old for most of our cleanups, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. You are responsible for you and your child's safety.

Question 4

May I bring my dog?

Accepted Answer

As much as we are dog lovers, we ask that you do not bring your dogs to cleanups. They are at risk of eating unsafe items (think needles and sharp glass), and it gets a bit complicated to clean up without an extra hand available.

Question 5

May I bring my own gear?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We love when volunteers bring their own gloves, grabbers, trash bags, buckets, etc. We also LOVE reusable bags or extra bags you may want to donate such as pet food and soil bags.
