In Level 2, you’ll build on the skills from Intro to Improv and learn how to create grounded, meaningful scenes with strong characters and relationships. This seven-week course focuses on long-form fundamentals, starting with solid two-person scenes and expanding into group work. You’ll also get hands-on practice with "The Armando," a showcase form where truthful monologues inspire improvised scenes.In this course, you’ll explore:<ul><li>Building a clear “base reality” (Who, What, Where)</li><li>Using object work to create environments on stage</li><li>Strong initiations that launch compelling scenes</li><li>Justifying choices &amp; discovering the “why” behind the scene</li><li>Performing The Armando in your student showcase</li></ul>Tuesdays, 7-9:30PMSeven weeks, starting April 28Instructor: John GerhardtPrerequisite: Level One at Stomping Ground Comedy or equivalent experience with Training Center Director approval. Students must be 18+ and follow the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. All sales are final. (Please note: Eventbrite fees apply at checkout. Classes are non-refundable but may be deferred with TCD approval.)
