Overview

Rachel Revere needs your help to reunite with her Founding Family at the Longmeadow Adult Center on Thursday, April 9th.

250 Years After The Midnight Ride… Rachel Revere’s Untold Story!

Rendezvous with Rachel Revere™ takes attendees back to May 2, 1775. Rachel Revere has only heard from her beloved husband Paul Revere once since his legendary midnight ride. Still isolated due to the Siege of Boston, Rachel desperately creates a plan to safely take her children, six step-children from Paul’s first marriage and a newborn baby of their own, from the reach of the British Army in Boston. In this Immersive Living History Experience, the audience assists Rachel as she carefully considers the dangers and demands of her escape plan. Find out if Rachel is successful in her perilous mission to reunite her family, amidst the wake of the American Revolution. (Suitable for all ages)

History At Play™, LLC (HAP) has garnered nationwide applause for its solo and ensemble Immersive Living History Experiences, chronicling the lives of legendary trailblazers who changed society. In Rendezvous with Rachel Revere, HAP Founder & Artistic Director Judith Kalaora is Rachel Revere— wife to Paul Revere and Founding Mother. Now, we bring Rachel’s story to you.

HAP was founded in 2010 and redefines immersive theatre as a pop culture teaching tool, exposing audiences to vastly different viewpoints. The company is internationally renowned in the history, corporate, educational, and entertainment fields for breaking the mold of traditional high-calibre touring theatre, along with virtual and hybrid events.

Founder & Artistic Director Judith Kalaora portrays Rachel Revere and enchants audiences in this 60-minute program. Kalaora is a professional educator, award-winning playwright, and living historian. She graduated Magna cum Laude from Syracuse University and completed the Globe Education Program at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre of London, England.

---

Josh Lederman, AP & NBC News Political Correspondent, attests: “History At Play™ connects the dots between the characters that made up our past and the events they shaped that still influence our lives.” Jordan Rich, of CBS WBZ Radio (Ret.), states that Judith Kalaora is “a one-woman force of nature and inhabits these women…it takes people like her to bring these stories to life…these lost pieces of history.”
