Vegetable Gardening 101 - Getting Started
Gain the knowledge and confidence needed to plant a vegetable garden and have edible results!
Vegetable Gardening 101 – Getting Started is a FREE class geared for the first-time vegetable gardener OR the frustrated vegetable gardener who needs a little coaching and encouragement. The goal of this class is to give you the knowledge and confidence to plant a vegetable garden and have edible results!
You will come away with the understanding and ability to begin your own garden right now – and we will even plant some seeds to help get you started.
We will discuss garden locations, the best crops to grow, when to plant, how to plant, and when and how to harvest. Need seeds for your garden, or have leftover seeds from the past few seasons? Check out the 10th annual Sammamish Valley Seed Swap happening at 21 Acres during the entire month of March!
Please register in advance for this free workshop.
About your instructor: Dennis Foster is a life-long gardener and long-time resident of Woodinville. He has planted a vegetable garden for several decades and has learned what grows well in our local area and climate. He loves sharing his enthusiasm for growing and the delight of eating your own food straight from your own garden.
