Story Makers with Common Tone! (Single Class Registration)

Join Common Tone for an after-school arts exploration program. Students will have a hands-on experience with music and crafts!

Description

Jacob from Common Tone will be offering an 8-week arts exploration after-school program at St. Joseph School. Story Makers brings early elementary students together to experience a story through movement, song, and crafts. Each week, students explore a different children's book through the lens of fine arts. They will sing, play music, dance, and create a craft or prop that pairs with the weekly tale. By the end of the session, children will have learned different ways to tell a story, how to create a narrative through music, and how to express their imagination in different ways with the help of their Story Maker community. Come and help breathe life and creativity into beloved children’s literature and let your imagination run wild!

Grades: PK - 1st

Dates: March 18, March 25, April 15, April 22, April 29, May 6, May 20, May 27, June 3rd (make-up week only)

No class on: April 1st, April 8th and May 13
