Who is this class for?

This class is for anyone who is caring for an adult family member or friend—whether you’re supporting someone who lives with you, lives elsewhere, or is in a care facility.

Is this a closed group?

Yes. Once the first session begins, the group is closed to new participants. This helps create a safe, supportive environment where trust can grow over the six weeks.

Question 3

What if I have to miss a session?

We understand that caregiving can be unpredictable. If you must miss a session, please let the facilitators know. Missing one session is usually manageable, but attending most sessions is important for your experience.

Do I need to bring anything?

All materials are provided, including the Powerful Tools for Caregivers workbook. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn and share.

Question 5

Will I be expected to talk about my personal situation?

Accepted Answer

Sharing is always optional. Participants often find comfort in connecting with others, but you decide what you’re comfortable discussing.

Can more than one family member attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as each person registers separately. The class works well for individual caregivers, couples, or siblings who share caregiving responsibilities.
