Encore 2026: A Leadership South Dakota Alumni Event

The one-day event is back bringing Leadership South Dakota alumni together to Discover, Connect, and Do.

Join Leadership South Dakota and our 13 classes of alumni for Encore 2026, an experience designed to reunite classmates, introduce you to fellow alumni, and recreate the magic of a mini-session all over again.

This afternoon and evening will move through Sioux Falls together. We will begin by engaging with the community, gather for inspiration and recognition, and close the evening around small-group dinner tables.

Leadership South Dakota’s core values of Discover, Connect, and Do shape the entire experience. Here's a look at the agenda:

DO

1:00 to 3:00 PM | Optional Service Projects

We begin the day by serving.

Alumni will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on service projects across the Sioux Falls community. Projects will support local nonprofit partners and allow alumni to make a tangible impact together.

Groups will be intentionally sized to keep the experience meaningful.

Service project sign-up details will be shared after registration and are first come, first served.

DISCOVER

3:30 to 5:00 PM | ICON Event Hall

We will gather at ICON Event Hall for inspiration, recognition, and a brief update on the program.

This portion of the evening includes a keynote speaker, celebration of alumni making an impact across South Dakota, and a special recognition honoring the Class of 2016 on their 10 Year Anniversary.

We will also recognize Annual Giving Campaign Class Champions, present the Outstanding Alumni Award, and honor a Friend of Leadership South Dakota.

CONNECT

5:00 PM | Social Hour at ICON

Reconnect with classmates and mingle with alumni from across all 13 classes.

5:45 PM | Hosted Alumni Dinners in Downtown Sioux Falls

We will end the evening in small-group dinners at a curated selection of downtown Sioux Falls restaurants, each within walking distance of ICON.

Each dinner will be hosted by a Leadership South Dakota alumn and limited to 10 participants to keep conversation intentional and meaningful.

Participation in the hosted dinners is optional. Attendees will purchase their own meal and beverages. Leadership South Dakota will provide dessert at each location.

Whether you have stayed closely involved or have not attended an event in a while, this is a space to reconnect and reengage with the Leadership South Dakota network.

Ticket Info

Ticket cost: Free

Thanks to the generosity of alumni who contributed to our Annual Giving Campaign, a portion of funds raised were earmarked to host alumni events like Encore.

We want all alumni to attend and do not want cost to be a hindrance.

Transportation

Transportation to, from, or within Sioux Falls will not be provided.

You may drive your own vehicle to your optional afternoon service project and park downtown near ICON Event Hall for the program and social hour.
