Overview

Join us for a Scavenger Hunt as we search for the Holy Grail!

We're bringing back an old favorite - our Search for the Grail Scavenger Hunt!

Dozens of adventurers will embark on a quest for a cherished prize as part of the Tri-State Bleeding Disorder Foundation’s 9th Search for the Holy Grail Scavenger Hunt.

Teams of four people will depart on foot from the Holy Grail on an expedition that will include finding hidden clues, items and taking team photos in a variety of locations in the Banks area. Points will be awarded based on the activity. This is NOT a timed event.

Advance registration is required as there are a limited amount of spots. Teams will be accepted until the event sells out. A waitlist will be established as needed.

The cost to participate is $60 a person or $240 for a team of four, which includes appetizers, soft drinks, two drink tickets (per person) and a commemorative t-shirt. A cash bar will be available. Participants must be 21. Waivers will be required for all participants. If you register as an individual you will be placed on a team with other people.

Scavenger Hunt Schedule (subject to change a little):

11:00am Registration

12:00-2:00pm Scavenger Hunt

2:00-3:00pm Reception where prizes will be awarded

The Tri-State Bleeding Disorder Foundation is a nonprofit organization with a nearly 50-year history of providing support, programs, and services to children and families living with bleeding disorders. TSBDF currently serves more than 500 patients and their families in 16 counties in Northern Kentucky, Greater Cincinnati, and Southeast Indiana.

Hemophilia, the most well-known bleeding disorder, is an inherited bleeding disorder. Blood contains many proteins, called clotting factors, which work to stop bleeding. In people with bleeding disorders, these clotting factors are missing or do not work as they should. Another bleeding disorder, von Willebrand Disease (VwD) is an inherited bleeding disorder, similar to hemophilia. VwD is caused by a deficiency or defect of a blood clotting protein called von Willebrand factor (VwF), a glue-like protein that helps platelets in the blood stick together and seal off tears in injured blood vessels. It has been estimated that VwD affects up to one percent of the population.
