Join Us for the Stories by the Sea Luncheon!
Set against the timeless backdrop of Martha’s Vineyard, Stories by the Sea is a unique luncheon experience convening cultural leaders, authors, faith leaders, creatives, educators, philanthropists, and corporate partners for a curated conversation on the enduring power of Black storytelling. This luncheon will examine how stories grounded in faith and lived experience continue to influence the future of education, philanthropy, cultural archives, and Black-owned institutions—while inspiring the next generation of leaders and visionaries. Guests will explore storytelling rooted in sermons, hymns, oral tradition, education, and the written Word.
Presented on the journey toward R.H. Boyd’s 130ᵗʰ Anniversary, this inaugural gathering honors the historic partnership between faith, culture, and the Black church. Since 1896, R.H. Boyd has served as a trusted leader in printing and publishing educational resources, Christian education study guides, musical books and hymnals, and so much more.
Proceeds from Stories by the Sea benefit scholarships and community grants through the R.H. Boyd Family Endowment Fund, directly investing in the advancement of future leaders and the continued strengthening of our institutions. A portion of partnerships and tickets are tax-deductible.
