All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Northeast Hummingbird Sanctuary Gardens Network, an initiative led by the Herbal Hummingbird Hub.

Deb is co-author of the book "Notes from the Hummingbird Corridor: Poetry, Prose & Planting for Pollinators", an inspiring record of the two authors' pilgrimage following Ruby-throated hummingbirds on their thousands-mile migration journey, and connecting with fellow humans along the way. Through poetry, prose, and practical gardening advice, they offer readers an invitation into relationship with these iridescent interdimensional beings who whiz from bloom to bloom across meadows, mountains, and the Gulf of Mexico. Deb is also the founder of Avena Botanicals, an herbal apothecary that grows ingredients for its artisanal remedies in the gardens she began creating there decades ago.
