Earth Day Clean Up!
Come care for God's creation at the CEC! We'll be tackling clean up projects both indoors and outside. For adults and kids age 12 and up.
Help us care for God's creation at the Catholic Ecology Center! We'll be rolling up our sleeves, putting on our gloves, and cleaning up the beautiful grounds both in and around the center. We'll be raking, trimming, clearing brush, hauling wood, painting, staining, cleaning, and more!
Two Sessions - Morning and Afternoon
Morning: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM -- Please arrive by 9:00 AM to break into groups and receive instructions. The morning shift will work under the direction of Joe Meyer, Executive Director, on projects out on the property.
Afternoon: 1:00 - 4:00 PM -- Please arrive by 1:00 PM to break into groups and receive instructions. The afternoon shift will work under the direction of Kim Kreimann, Volunteer Coordinator, on projects in and around our main building.
Lunch will be provided! All are welcome to join us for lunch and fellowship from 12:00 - 1:00 PM.
You are welcome to come for both sessions.
We kindly ask that you register by "purchasing" free tickets so that we can prepare projects based on group size.
Please dress for the weather in comfortable clothing and shoes that can get dirty.
This event is intended for adults and children age 12 and up. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What to Bring
- a reusable water bottle
- work gloves if you have them
- a chainsaw if you have one
