Qualitative Data Collection- Online Workshop

This online workshop covers the principles and skills needed for collecting qualitative data and evaluating data quality.

Qualitative research is becoming widely used in public health. This online QUAL-WORKS workshop provides participants with the principles and skills needed for collecting qualitative data and evaluating data quality. The workshop integrates asynchronous materials on principles with synchronous real-time sessions to develop skills and participate in interactive activities. This workshop is suitable for those involved in research or research management. It is valuable for anyone directly involved in designing qualitative research or collecting qualitative data or those who train research staff, evaluate research contracts or manage research. No previous knowledge of qualitative research is needed.

Registration Confirmation

Once your payment is received, you will be sent a confirmation email that secures your registration for the workshop. In the event that the workshop is fully booked, we can add your name to a waitlist in case there is a cancelation, and a place becomes available. Cancellation and Refund Policy

If the workshop is cancelled by the QUAL-WORKS organizers, participants will receive a full refund. If a participant wishes to cancel their ticket, notice of cancellation must be received in writing via email to qualworks@emory.edu 14 days prior to the start of the workshop. A refund of the registration fee, less a $65 administration charge, will then be refunded upon notice of cancellation. No refund is available if you cancel your registration within 14 days of the workshop start date. No refund is given for participant's internet connectivity/bandwidth issues.
