Swedish Woodcarving with Mark Olsen

Learn traditional woodcarving techniques, toll sharpening, and design layout. No experience necessary.

The initial projects in this class are inpisred by trail markers and runestones along St. Olavsleden, a prilgrip trail through Norway and Sweden.

Wood materail will be provided, and you will take your projects home. Tool selection will be covered. Basic tools are avilable for those without their own set.

Come for instruction or just drop-in for studio time to use the space and tools and seek Mark's ongoing guidance. For past students of Mark's at other locations or those with unfinished projects, drop-ins are welcome on the scheduled days.

Each session goes for three Fridays.

Session 1: March 27, April 3, and April 10

Session 2: April 17, April 24, and May 1

Session 3: May 8, May 15, and May 22

Cost/session: $140 for Swedish Club Members | $150 for General Admssion
