What's included in the  cost of a ticket?

Accepted Answer

Your ticket includes Italian-inspired bites (think antipasti, meatballs, and the like) as well as wine and/or non-alc options. There will be a cash bar for cocktails! Your ticket also includes immaculate vibes, many a photo-opp, mahj-ing, and a donation to Blood Cancer United!

Do I need to have mahjong experience?

Helpful, but not mandatory to have mahjong experience- we'll make sure to designate beginner-friendly tables and the amazing women behind Mount Vernon Mahjong and ALX Mahj will be making the rounds to answer questions.

Question 3

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Wear your most unhinged interpretation of mob wife aesthetic- fur/faux fur, leather, animal print, nails, over-the-top jewelry and makeup, big hair. The limit does not exist. FULL SEND. (Psst- you will not be turned away if you don't arrive in full mob wife regalia... but we fully encourage it!)

What's the deal with parking?

There is a small parking lot but there are also 75+ MAHJ WIVES descending on Table Talk. Prepare accordingly with carpooling, ride-sharing, or finding street parking a couple blocks away.

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Your 2025 Mahjong card if you have it! If you have extras, be a doll and bring them to let a fellow MAHJ WIFE borrow it for the evening.

How does my donation help Blood Cancer United?

Accepted Answer

$25 helps fund an hour of free nutrition counseling for patients and the training of  volunteers. $50 helps distribute informational booklets for patients and funds a free informational podcast. $100  helps fund a support group session and provides one-time stipends to relieve financial stress.
