Overview

This 4-week-long, beginner-friendly, hand-building class will get you excited about working with clay!

Join us to make projects that add a bit of whimsy to your home. A bud vase, a ring holder, and a cream pitcher are all on the syllabus. We will be glazing these wares with a food safe, non toxic glaze.

Workshop Dates:
Sat, April 18
Sat, April 25
Sat, May 2
Sat, May 9

Please note: You may not be able to take all projects home on the last day of class. Because of the firing process, you may be asked to come back and pick up your objects 1-2 weeks after the last session.

Led by Anna Muñiz. With over 10 years of teaching experience, Anna Muñiz holds a New Jersey Teaching Certificate in Art, and an MAT in Art Education from Montclair State University. Specializing in Paper Arts and Ceramics, she got her start teaching at the 92nd Street YMCA in NYC. She has served as a Museum Educator at Newark Museum, the Montclair Art Museum, and as Adjunct Art Faculty at Union College and at Essex County College.
