The Newark Museum of ArtNewark, NJ
Saturday, May 9 from 10 am to 4 pm
Overview

Try your hand at making jewelry!

Master the art of forging hairpin-style bracelets and rings — where metal transforms from thin to thick across multiple planes, shaped purely by force and skill. This workshop is led by Artist Elizabeth Tokoly.

In this class, you'll walk away with a set of 2 stacking rings in brass, copper, or silver, plus a set of 2 forged hairpin cuff bracelets in copper.

This workshop is suitable for beginner or intermediate jewelry makers who are 18 years or older. All supplies are included in the workshop fee. Workshop space will be warm, so dress in light layers.
