Description:
Darkness to Light believes adults are responsible for the safety of children and that adults should be taking proactive steps to protect children from sexual abuse. This training will introduce a 5-step approach to protect children from sexual abuse, address child sexual abuse, and provide a clear understanding of perpetrator grooming tactics.
Objectives:
- Recognize signs and understand the impact of abuse
- Learn prevention strategies
- Develop response protocols
- Promote safe environments
Audience: This training is designed for parents, caregivers, educators, youth-serving professionals, and community members who are committed to preventing child sexual abuse and fostering a safe environment for children.
