On September 5th at 6:00 PM, the KCMOves Festival invites the community to a dynamic public lecture panel at the UMKC Conservatory, "Art As Therapy". This engaging conversation will bring together distinguished artists from across a varity of disciplines to explore how their creative practices serve as powerful forms of therapy, healing, and connection. Featuring Amy Robertson, Karen Savage, Paul Rudy, Jarrett McCourt, Suzanne Ryanstrati, and Sun Joo, the panel will offer insight into how movement, music, and interdisciplinary collaboration can foster resilience, self-discovery, and transformation. Open to the public, this event welcomes artists, students, educators, and community members to gather, listen, and reflect on the profound ways art supports both individual and collective well-being. Q&A and refreshments offered.
