This is more than a fashion show… it’s a powerful moment for youth to imagine and create a better world. Bring your family, friends, and community to support these amazing young people as they shine on the runway.

Why It Matters

25Alive Fashion Express matters because our youth deserve more than survival — they deserve celebration rooted in cultural pride and purpose. In alignment with our commitment to expand awareness, appreciation, and understanding of Black culture, this event intentionally exposes youth in underserved communities to positive expressions of identity, creativity, and excellence.

This year, 25 youth participants will step onto the runway as symbols of courage, promise, possibility, purpose, and hope beyond 25. Through mentorship, community support, and culturally affirming programming, 25Alive strengthens confidence, belonging, and positive social growth. Local barbers, stylists, makeup artists, designers, and other small businesses have donated their services, surrounding these young people with a powerful village of support.

This is not just about fashion — it is about application. It is about helping youth understand their cultural legacy and empowering them to carry it forward with confidence and purpose. It is about surrounding them with community leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals who represent the full spectrum of Black excellence.

25Alive offers Jefferson County and surrounding communities an opportunity to come together in pride and purpose — strengthening partnerships, expanding cultural exposure, and co-creating programs that elevate and sustain our youth. Every model walking that runway represents courage, promise, and possibility beyond today’s circumstances.
