The ceremony will take place on May 7th, 2026, at Greater Mt. Zion Church (4301 Tannehill Ln, Austin, TX 78721).
Hosted by the Texas Exes Black Alumni Network and the United Black Collegiate Association (formerly Afrikan Amerikan Affairs), this powerful celebration underscores the importance of supporting our students’ journeys and ensuring their continued success.
This ceremony is more than just an event— it's a powerful statement of unity and empowerment. We look forward to celebrating Black excellence with you and honoring our students’ achievements in a truly unforgettable way!
Sustaining Black Graduation for Years To Come: Black Graduation is an over 30 year-tradition of celebrating the remarkable achievements of our Black students at The University of Texas at Austin – Graduating. Given that we no longer receive funds from the university, we encourage our alumni, friends, and community to contribute to sustaining this vital tradition for years to come.
