Follow UCI graduate student Jennifer Schlauch Saiyawong along the Horseshoe Loop Trail towards the edge of the 396-acre wildlife corridor and Native American village site in California's oldest regional park. Learn techniques on how to observe, identify and photo-document the incredible diversity of native bees and other elusive species. Stop frequently to focus on the physical characteristics, adaptations and behaviors of various species as they relate to their habitat. Help Save Orange Hills record native bees, such as the endangered Crotch's Bumblebee, that rely on the threatened wildlife corridor for their survival. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a hat, plenty of water, sunscreen and sunglasses. Questions?
