Who is this event for?

This  is for vanlifers, overlanders, skoolies, truck campers, and those who identify as nomadic travelers. We are an inclusive community who welcome all, and this is a family-friendly event. There are no hookups or facilities available for RVs or other rigs who are not equipped to "dry camp".

Question 2

What if we want to only spend one night?

Accepted Answer

We are only offering weekend camping passes. Due to the nature of the event, and they layout of the property, we cannot have folks coming and going through the venue. We ask that you arrive on Friday and stay through Sunday. We'll have plenty of exciting things for you to do throughout the weekend!

Question 3

What if we have a vehicle and a pull-behind trailer?

Sadly, we cannot accommodate these kinds of rigs. Because of the limited space, we have decided to be true to the Vanlife rally and limited to single vehicles.

Question 4

Can we drive our rigs offsite once the event starts?

Accepted Answer

Because of the logistics of the van parking and the general event area, it is difficult to coordinate mid event departures. Guests can Uber/Lyft or get picked up during the event, obviously. If you need to leave early or can only stay for part of the event, please call Tom at 828-450-6078.

Can I park my rig next to my friend’s rig?

Yes. Due to site logistics, we would ask that you arrive together so we can load you in together.

Question 6

Will similar type vehicles be placed together? (Sprinters, VWs, Roof top tents etc.)?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are going to try and place similar vehicles together. We have learned that folks love to hang out near others like them. You'll be able to tell us what kind of rig you have during checkout.

Question 7

What happens if we cannot arrive during the scheduled “load in” time?

Accepted Answer

We do ask that you try your best to arrive during our load in window, but we understand if there are conflicts. Please call Tom at 828-450-6078 to coordinate arrival if you have to come in after or before the scheduled arrival time.

Question 8

Can we light a campfire?

Accepted Answer

There will be several communal campfire areas on site that can be utilized. Please ask someone from the Junebug staff if you want us to light a fire.

Question 9

Are we able to just come for the day and not camp overnight?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We will open the gates for daytime guests from 9am-9pm on Saturday only. Be prepared to pay at the gate, as we are only selling daytime tickets in person on the day of the event (July 18). There is limited parking capacity for daytime guests, so carpool if you can!

Do you allow pets?

Accepted Answer

Pets are allowed for overnight campers for a $10 fee per pet. Day pass people are allowed to bring their pets as long as they bring them home with them. Every dog needs to have a dog pass to be on the property. And, of course, please keep them on leash and clean up afterwards.

If we are coming for the day, how many people can we put in our car for the $25 parking fee?

As many people as you can fit. No buses. We have limited parking areas for daytime visitors.

What does the $25 daytime pass include?

Accepted Answer

Day pass attendees are free to listen to the live music, hang out by the creek, check out all of the vehicles, attend the various workshops and visit the vendor booths.

What if we want to stay the weekend, but don't have our own rig?

What if we want to volunteer during the weekend?

Accepted Answer

During the checkout process, you'll be asked if you are interested in helping out, and we'll get in touch with you! We will need help with set-up, load-in, programming logistics, and load-out/break down. We love having folks available who can be adaptable and eager to help with just about anything.

Question 15

What if we want to showcase our brand as a vendor?

Accepted Answer

Come on! Just choose the Vendor ticket, which includes a 10x10 area and a camping spot with full weekend of access to the event. Our vendor areas will be front-and-center in the venue, so that attendees can check out your set up.

What kind of programming will there be?

Accepted Answer

We are curating a full weekend of vanlife workshops, roundtable discussions, meet & greets, and more for those of you who want to learn more about life on the road. Charlene, of Junebug, is also putting together a lineup of music for all to enjoy. We will update the details of the programming here.

Will there be a load in and load out time?

Accepted Answer

Load in is 12pm-5pm on Friday, July 17. If you plan on arriving later than 5pm, you will need to coordinate with us so that we can greet you and show you where to park. Load out windows will be 8-11am OR after 5pm. The Creek Lounge will be open from 12-5pm Sunday if you want to join us!

Will there be a quiet area for folks who want to go to bed early?

Quiet hours will be enforced from 10pm-8am, but we will not have a specific quiet area. We ask that attendees respect their neighbors. Quiet hours include generators, loud music, or excessive partying.

How do we know where to park?

Accepted Answer

A parking attendant will direct you where to park when you check in.

Question 20

Will there be other food options on the evening of arrival besides the Lowcountry boil?

Accepted Answer

There will not be any other food trucks on site Friday night. You are welcome to prepare your own food at your campsite. We just ask that everyone keep their camping areas clean. Junebug does not provide any kitchen areas, so prepare accordingly.
