Motul ACU British Motocross Championship Round 1

The Opening Round of the ACU Motul British Motocross Championship blasts into action at the iconic Shropshire venue of Hawkstone Park.

Salop Motor Club welcomes you to the opening round of the 2026 ACU Motul British Motocross Championship at the World renowned Hawkstone Park Circuit north of Shrewsbury.

A fantastic venue to start the 75th year of the official British Motocross Championships sanctioned by the ACU.

The race format will see 3 championship classes featuring

MX125

MX250

MX450

The Mornings action will feature practice & qualifying with the fastest qualifiers progressing to the main Championship races in the afternoon.

Should a rider not qualify straight to the races, they will then get a second chance via the LCQ. ( If numbers require this . )

The 6 races will feature the fastest riders from the British Isles & mainland Europe on that day. Full details of the registered riders can be found at www.mxgb.co.uk .There's plenty to see & do off track with trade stands & food outlets to enjoy . Don't forget to check out the spectator fanzone with rider signings. Timings of this can be found in the race programme.
