Babydoll Sheep Vine and Wine Walk with French Worker’s Lunch

Roberts Ranch VineyardsBen Lomond, CA
Saturday, Apr 18 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
Overview

Join us at our Santa Cruz Mountains winery for seasonal hikes through the vines and finish with a Provençal Worker’s lunch paired with wine.

In the Provençal tradition, we invite you to tour the cellar and vineyard property with the stewards of this special place! (Please wear comfortable close-toed shoes for safety on our hike.) After a seasonally-specific walk and talk around the property, we’ll gather on the Terrace for a Provencal Lunch paired with a featured wines. As a priority, we source seasonally, locally and organically grown from independent farmers! (If you are unable to hike and prefer to relax at the crush pad until the lunch, you are welcome to do so.)

A wonderful food and wine experience, this is perfect for solo adventurers, couples and groups of friends. Bring friends and make some more around the table!

*April 18th Babydoll Sheep Vine & Wine Walk with Provençal Lunch. The Olde English Southdown 'Babydoll' Sheep are a key part of Roberts Ranch. Not only are they cute, they are our practical mowers and fertilizers in the vineyard. We'll talk about how we manage them in and around the vineyards throughout the seasons (they can't always be with the vines) and what our hopes are for their impact on the land as we lean in to permaculture at Roberts Ranch. (You may even get a Babydoll nuzzle during your visit!)

Provençal Lunch from Saturday 3/14/2026 (April Menu will be updated 2 weeks prior to event)

Celeriac Velouté

Endives, Apple and Spiced Walnut Salad with St. Agur

Poulet Chasseur Sandwich with Fennel, Shiitake and Tarragon

Featured Wines: Roberts Ranch Chardonnay 2024

Roberts Ranch Estate Pinot Noir 2017

Come for the food & wine, and stay for the gorgeous views from the hilltop! Please allow 2 hours for your visit. As this is an outdoor event, please dress for your comfort. Please make us aware of dietary allergies/restrictions. Santé!
