The day begins in <a href="https://www.epicureanhotel.com/epicurean-theatre/" title="https://www.epicureanhotel.com/epicurean-theatre/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Epicurean Theatre</a> with an interactive blending seminar led by winemaker Carmel Greenberg. Guests will step into the role of winemaker, exploring the individual components that shape Stag’s Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon and gaining insight into how balance, structure, and site expression come together in the final blend. It is an engaging, behind-the-scenes look at the artistry and decision-making that define one of Napa Valley’s most respected estates.Following the seminar, the experience transitions to the terrace for a festive picnic lunch. Set against an open-air backdrop, guests will enjoy wines by Clos du Val alongside a family-style feast prepared by <a href="https://bernssteakhouse.com/" title="https://bernssteakhouse.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bern’s Steak House</a>, <a href="https://haventampa.com/" title="https://haventampa.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Haven</a>, and the <a href="https://www.epicureanhotel.com/" title="https://www.epicureanhotel.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Epicurean</a> kitchen. This afternoon is an opportunity to savor exceptional wine, abundant seasonal dishes, and relaxed conversation. This event offers a rare chance to learn directly from the winemaker and then toast the results in true Winefest fashion.*Please note that due to the format of this event; allergies and dietary substitutions cannot be accommodated. Menu items are subject to availability and may change without notice. The picnic is held outdoors regardless of inclement weather.All guests must be 21+, and tickets are non-transferable.The Laxer Family Foundation is a charitable foundation that provides the opportunity to raise money through events that foster a more inclusive and cooperative youth culture while cultivating the advancement of the next generation of culinary leaders through scholarships. Since 1997, Bern’s Winefest has been the main fundraising event for the Bern Laxer Memorial Scholarship. The Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C•CAP) selection process awards funds to individuals from the state of Florida for culinary and job skills training in food and hospitality. A portion of the proceeds raised through this event will go directly to the Bern Laxer Memorial Scholarship Fund.
