Overview

Join Faylita Hicks in a space for reflection and response to the themes of Digital Archives of the Unseen.

May 1, 2026 | Full Moon in Scorpio

Interdisciplinary, interdimensional artist, writer, ritual maker, and ordained practitioner Faylita Hicks joins Walls Turned Sideways Gallery, a nationally recognized space centering art, justice, and incarceration, for a collective ritual honoring those rendered unseen.

This gathering offers space for reflection and response to the themes of Digital Archives of the Unseen—including surveillance, documentation, disappearance, incarceration, and ongoing current events that continue to shape collective memory and harm. The evening will include an opening blessing of the space and a guided ritual led by Hicks, offering intentional care for participants and for those named, remembered, or held in absence.

This event is designed for those moved by the work and its subject matter. Participation is voluntary, consent-based, and accessible, with space for listening, presence, and witness.
