2026 SWFL CISMA Invasive Freshwater Fish Roundup

The SWF CISMA is a partnership of private landowners; homeowners; federal, state, and local government agencies; NGOs; vendors, contractors, consultants; and other interested groups that manage invasive species in Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades Counties. Our goal is to pool resources and expertise to protect and/or reclaim land that is over-run by invasive species and to expand our efforts across the landscape, rather than stopping at political or property boundaries.Specifically, the SWF CISMA promotes the control of invasive species on all land types; organizes and attend seducational events; holds workdays to treat invasive species across fences; distributes information on new invasive species sightings and control efforts; works to fill in gaps in treatment methods for invasive species; and creates local watch-out lists.The Southwest Florida CISMA is working together to identify, publicize, control, and isolate invasive species running wild in southwest Florida.
