Black Women’s Sanctuary (FIERCE Advocates)
Black Women’s Sanctuary is a facilitated, healing-centered circle for Black women—especially caregivers—rooted in West Contra Costa County. It’s a culturally affirming space to set down the “Strong Black Woman” expectation, exhale, and be supported without judgment or performance.
Participants describe it as a true sanctuary: a place to breathe, feel seen, grow, and leave more grounded—with sisterhood, encouragement, and real connection across generations.
