UC San Diego ECE Department 60th Anniversary Celebration

Atkinson HallSan Diego, CA
Friday, Apr 10 from 9 am to 6 pm
Overview

Please join us to celebrate 60 years of innovation, and look towards the future.

Six Decades, Infinite Impact

The UC San Diego Electrical and Computer Engineering Department is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and we have so much to be proud of! Our graduate program is now ranked 14th in electrical / electronic / communications engineering, and 12th in computer engineering. Our research accomplishments border on science fiction, including a sweat-powered health sensor, mobile batteries for grid resilience, and high-density electrode arrays that could enable vision-restoring transplantation.

As we look to the future, we remain committed to our mission of educating the next generation of engineers, conducting transformative research, and translating discoveries into technologies that benefit society. Whether you're an alumnus, or an industry partner, we invite you to explore the exciting work happening in ECE. We are shaping the future of technology, and we invite you to join us as we write the next chapter in electrical and computer engineering innovation!
