After a massive maiden voyage last year, the Acadiana Pirate Festival returns to The Sidecar on July 11th, 2026. Whether you’re a seasoned buccaneer or a curious landlubber, join us for a day of immersive pirate shenanigans, high-energy music, and a marketplace full of rare treasures.
⚓ What to Expect
- Live Music & Shanties: Tap your boots to the sounds of the sea! Featuring Buckler & Dirks, The Whiskey Bay Rovers, and Under the Black Pirate Troupe.
- The Merchant’s Square: Shop an expanded market of local artisans, featuring handmade leather goods, custom jewelry, nautical antiques, and festival-exclusive gear.
- Food & Grog: Feast on local fare and enjoy cold drinks provided by The Sidecar’s finest crew, and our incredible local food vendors.
- The Pirate’s Garb: Costumes are highly encouraged! Join hundreds of others in their finest silks, tricorns, and eye patches. There will be costume contests for adults and children!
