St. Louis Film Project Showcase - Narrative Day Three, Film #1
Get ready to unlock your creativity & feast on cinematic delights at the St. Louis Film Project!
ABOUT THE SHOWCASE: This short is a haunting psychological thriller exploring fandom’s intoxicating allure in the digital age.
ABOUT THE ST. LOUIS FILM PROJECT & SHOWCASE: The St. Louis Film Project (STLFP) is led by the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis, in partnership with Continuity, and funded through the ARPA for the Arts initiative in support of the region's growing film industry. The St. Louis Film Project Showcase will be hosted over three Wednesdays in March, and the public is invited to attend free, work-in-progress screenings by five STLFP filmmakers navigating pivotal stages of development.
The STLFP Showcase reflects a vital practice common in more mature film hubs akin to test screenings in Los Angeles and New York, or the development environments fostered by programs such as Sundance Labs, where films are seen, questioned, and strengthened before reaching their final form.
Audience members will be asked to sign a nondisclosure agreement to ensure the confidentiality of the works-in-progress. Filmmakers will introduce their work and participate in post-screening conversations, sharing insight into creative decisions still in motion and inviting thoughtful audience response as part of the films’ ongoing evolution. By welcoming the public into this protected, intentional space, the Showcase strengthens the local filmmaking ecosystem and reinforces St. Louis’ role as a rising film hub.More about the STLFP: racstl.org/stlfp/
Special thanks to Alamo Drafthouse & Cinema City Foundry for their generous contribution and continued support for the vibrant arts community we serve.
A limited number of free tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Non-rated disclaimer: Some content may include strong language, violence, and other mature material. It is intended for adult audiences only.
