Creative Storytelling with Photos: Let’s Go See What We’ve Been Missing

An 8-Week In-Person Photography & Visual Storytelling Workshop
w/ Kathy Strauss, CCFC Creationeer

Ever wish your photos looked more interesting, more artistic, or told a better story?

Creative Storytelling with Photos is a fun, hands-on workshop designed to help you see the world like an artist and photograph with intention. It’s not about fancy equipment or technical jargon—it’s about learning how to really see.

Using the 8 Principles of Design—contrast, unity, balance, proportion, harmony, rhythm, repetition, and emphasis—you’ll learn how to notice light, pattern, color, detail, and emotion, and turn everyday moments into images that feel alive and meaningful.

Not just look—really see.

  • The shadows. The patterns. The tiny details.
  • The unexpected beauty hiding in plain sight.

Each week builds skills and confidence through playful exploration, creative challenges, and guided learning. We’ll wander, notice, experiment, and laugh as you explore new ways of seeing and begin to develop your own visual style.

Whether you shoot with a smartphone or DSLR, you’ll leave with stronger composition skills—and a whole new way of seeing the world around you.

When: Saturdays: 2/21/26-4/11/26 21

Time: 10am-12:30pm

Fee: $360 for full 8-weeks. Register HERE

Perfect for: Teens & adults (recommended ages 10+), beginners through intermediate photographers, creatives, and anyone who wants to see more, notice more, and create more.

Bring your phone. Bring your camera. Bring your sense of wonder.
No experience needed—just curiosity and a sense of adventure.

✨ Learn to see like an artist (even if you don’t think you are one). ✨
