Founded in 1979, the Atlanta Preservation Center promotes the preservation of Atlanta's architecturally, historically and culturally significant buildings, neighborhoods and landscapes through education and advocacy.

Tour the English Avenue Ecology District’s Lindsay Street Park and Kathryn Johnston Memorial Park

Lindsay Street Park

Tour the English Avenue Ecology District's Lindsay Street Park, the first Park with Purpose in the country, opened fall of 2015 followed by Kathryn Johnston Memorial Park located on a tributary of Proctor Creek. Learn more about the duality of Parks with Purpose and the triple bottom effect that has been created by this unique park for underserved communities. <ul><li>Street parking is available.</li><li>The capacity for this tour is 20 people. If the event is full, please sign up for the waiting list. You will be notified if a spot becomes available.</li></ul>
