Designed for a multi-division environment, this program emphasizes communication, decision-making, and personal safety while reinforcing professionalism, situational awareness, emotional intelligence, and accountability. The course is appropriate as both an introduction to de-escalation concepts and a refresher for experienced personnel seeking to sharpen performance under pressure.

Instructor

Don Moore is a 37-year veteran law enforcement professional in the St. Louis, Missouri area and a former U.S. Marine Military Police Officer. He has served in numerous operational, investigative, supervisory, and instructional roles, including crisis intervention officer and trainer, special reaction team trainer, field training officer, and department training coordinator. A Missouri POST-certified instructor since 2003, Don is a subject matter expert in de-escalation, use of force decision-making, and implicit bias, with certifications from the Force Science Institute and the L.E.A.D.S Program. He holds advanced degrees in criminal justice and forensic psychology and is the founder of SBCM Consulting Group, providing training to law enforcement, public safety, and corporate organizations.

  • Cancellations received 7 prior to the scheduled course date may be eligible for a refund or credit, less any applicable administrative fees.
  • Cancellations received after this period, or no-shows, may not be eligible for a refund.
  • Training Force USA reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, registrants will be notified and offered a refund or transfer
