Constants - Jazz Concert at the Center
Constants is a modern jazz group looking to create an intense and exciting jazz atmosphere.
Constants - Jazz Musicians Pushing Themselves to Create Something New
Connie Rottier-Thompson is a jazz keyboardist who was raised in Madison, WI, and musically raised in Chicago, IL. Upon moving to Sacramento, they went on to look for professional caliber musicians in order to push one other into creating great music. Constants features Jackson Riley on saxophone, Nate Furgason on bass and Scott Gordon on drums. Taking inspiration from both classic and modern music, this group seeks to meld them together and push the genre forward, while respecting what has come before. This group has performed all across the Sacramento area and looks forward to becoming part of the "At the Center" series as produced by the Center for Musical Arts.
At the Center
The Center for Musical Arts proudly presents our "At the Center" concert series, where our goal is to give Sacramento musicians the event space they deserve. Music school by day, concert venue by night—our listening room features a stage, baby grand piano, and an intimate 30-seat capacity.
