Art(mix) After Dark
A turned-up edition of our after-hours art experience in celebration of Bakersfield Museum of Art’s 70th anniversary.
We’re celebrating our 70th year in the first of two special events. On Friday, April 17 it’s Art(mix) After Dark, an energetic party in the BMoA galleries and garden featuring the delights of spring through light, sound, and art.
Stroll our newly-installed exhibitions Ann Diener: The Invented Land and Ali Vaughan: The Afterlife of Rivers and Fields.
Make linocut and alcohol ink prints in our creator lounges.
Food and drink for purchase available by local favorites Smash N Grab, Goose Loonies, and desserts by Strawberry Dream Factory. Drinks for purchase available by Cocktail Concierge.
Photobooth by The Photobooth Corner.
Art(mix) After Dark is sponsored by Woolworth’s at the Basement, PG&E, Mission Bank, Moneywise, and Kern County Supervisor Leticia Perez.
Photos by Felix Adamo.
