Tank Club: A Journey Into the Darker Side of Nu Metal Nonsense

Overview

A Nu Metal Night for Nu Metal Fans.

Not just fans of Korn or Slipknot or Limp Bizkit but fans of nu metal, the genre.

Fans ready to hear something new.

This isn't to say we won't play Korn or Slipknot or Limp Bizkit. We absolutely will but you might hear some deep cuts before you hear the big hits.

This is a night for those who either know nu metal is more than the big 5 or anyone who wants to know. It isn't just a night for singing along to your favorite songs it's a night for discovering your new favorite songs too.

I'm Holiday Kirk. I've made nu metal my life, my career, for three years solid and have been exploring it for much longer than that. As the founder and CEO of The Nu Metal Agenda I haven't yet had a DJ night where I feel comfortable going beyond the tried and true. I've been dying to go for it and throw an event where Deftones can share the stage with Dry Kill Logic. On April 11th, I'm going for it.

And I'm not going for it alone. I'm bringing my friend m27, who is even better at DJing this genre than I am, to teach me a thing or two. This is his first and only gig in town so show up for him if not me.

Let's prove to Los Angeles and the world that nu metal is bigger and brighter than anyone ever knew.

Admission is free with RSVP.
