A half-day retreat to align with the shifting of season and honor the rhythm within.
In late winter, trees appear dormant, but beneath the surface, an awakening is underway. Roots seek nutrients through vast mycelial networks; stored energy moves through cambium and sapwood; buds begin to swell imperceptibly at first, preparing. Trees draw from deep connection and inner reserves before any outward sign of spring appears.
This half-day retreat is an invitation for a slow transition from the cold, dark winter to the pastel warming of the spring: connect with Earth’s tempo and your intuition, draw on community support, emerge from hibernation and listen to your subtle yearnings for navigating seasonal change, and prepare your own sacred rituals to orient toward hope and possibility.
Within this retreat container, we will:
Engage in a guided, mindful movement practice (all levels)
Practice forest bathing in a silent nature walk
Challenge notions of perfectionism through art, introspection, & collaboration
Nourish through intuitive grazing and awareness
Write & explore our inner landscape
Gather as a community & share around a bonfire
Curate personal ritual

The day’s unfolding:
Arrive 15 min early and gather around the bonfire to orient to the space. Lay out your yoga mat & blanket for mindful movement. Be guided in a forest bathing experience and share creative space for collaboration & reflection/writing. Curate a personal ritual to intentionally align with the emergence of spring. Make & bring home a candle for your personal altar. Mindfully graze on provided snacks as needed (bring lunch if you prefer heavier sustenance). Sip tea, share/ listen, close our circle.
