Sip, Savor, Support: An Afternoon Steeped in Hope & Healing

Pendry BaltimoreBaltimore, MD
Sunday, May 3  •  1 PM - 3:30 PM
Overview

Join us for an afternoon of gourmet bites and tea-inspired refreshments, all while celebrating the the resilience of survivors.

Sip, Savor & Support is a modern reimagining of House of Ruth Maryland’s signature spring traditions. Set against the breathtaking waterfront of Fells Point, this event is a strategic fusion of our classic Spring Luncheon and our vibrant cocktail receptions—designed for a new era of community and impact.

Guests will enjoy a curated experience featuring:

  • Sip: Tea-inspired spirits and signature cocktails during a vibrant courtyard reception.
  • Savor: A sophisticated "Afternoon Tea" menu served in the Grand Ballroom, featuring tiered centerpieces of gourmet sliders, artisanal small bites, and macarons.
  • Support: A mission-centered program highlighting the resilience of survivors and our vision for the next 50 years of House of Ruth Maryland.

Why Your Presence Matters While we celebrate the progress we have made together, the need remains urgent. In Maryland, 1 in 4 women will experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime. Currently, nearly 300 requests for help go unmet every single day because the necessary resources are not yet in place.

Your ticket is more than an invitation to a beautiful afternoon; it is a lifeline. Every dollar raised directly funds our 24/7 crisis intervention, legal advocacy, and life-saving shelter.

Attire: We invite you to lean into the garden party spirit! Please wear your Sunday Best: think spring suits, floral dresses, hats, and fascinators—for a picturesque afternoon by the harbor.

Tickets & Tables

  • Individual Tickets: $200
  • Patron Host Tables: $1,500 (Includes 6 tickets and specifically funds one full week of childcare for a family in our care).
